These scenarios mirror the listening section format. For each, read the scenario, imagine the dialogue, and answer the questions in Punjabi.
- ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ? (What topic is being discussed in the family?)
- ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀ ਰਾਏ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਉਂ? (What is the mother's view and why?)
- ਕੁੜੀ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਹੈ? (What does the daughter herself want?)

Section B — Reading Comprehension Practice
Read the following Punjabi passages and answer the questions below each one in Punjabi.
ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਹਿਮ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦਾਦਾ-ਦਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਾ-ਨਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਵੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਅਨ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
